  • 2012 – Department of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology established.
  • 2015 – Graduate Institute of Long-Term Care (Master’s Program) established.
  • 2019 – Graduate Institute of Gerontechnology established.
  • 2020 – Master’s Programs in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology and Executive Master’s Program of the Graduate Institute of Long-Term Care established.
  • 2021 – Accreditation for the Department of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology and the Graduate Institute of Long-Term Care successfully completed.
  • 2025 – Enrollment quota for the undergraduate Department of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology increased.
  • May 28, 2025 – “Preparatory Committee for the College of Health and Welfare” established. Committee members: Director Jin-Ding Lin (Convener) of the Graduate Institute of Long-Term Care, Professors Sang-Yi Lin and Yu-Cing Chou, Chair Yi-Chao Hsu of the Department of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology, Associate Professor Pei-Jen Su, Directors Yang Ming-Zheng, and Assistant Professor Yi-Yin Lin of the Graduate Institute of Gerontechnology (7 members in total).
  • August 1, 2025 – College of Health and Welfare officially established; Professor Jin-Ding Lin appointed as the first Dean.
  • October 1, 2025 – The inaugural issue of the College of Health and Welfare Newsletter was published.
